WATCH: Florida State’s offense goes backwards, faces 2nd and 43

No. 2 Clemson is visiting Florida State Saturday, and the Seminoles have had a forgettable season thus far.
However, the Noles are playing better football the last few weeks, and they’re playing Clemson tough through the first quarter.
With Florida State’s offense driving and picking up a couple first downs against Clemson’s tough defense, it all came to a screeching halt, and the offense faced a 2nd and 43. The snap went over the head of Deondre Francois, and then, RB Cam Akers picked up an unsportsmanlike penalty to tack on another 15 yards.
That’s not exactly the plan to beat Clemson.
