For this family, Josh Dobbs was much more than just a quarterback.
NFL 360 released a recent video that tells the incredible story of Dobbs and the Cucksey family. The Cucksey’s have dealt with a brain tumor that was discovered in A.J. when he was four years old.
A.J. and Josh met during Dobbs’ time at Tennessee and an incredible bond was formed. Dobbs explains how he was able to relate to the Cucksey’s after growing up with a mother who was limited to a wheelchair.
A.J. looked up to Josh so much so that his physical therapist would encourage him to “run like Josh Dobbs” during his sessions.
