WATCH: Georgia Senate calls the Dawgs leading up to Monday night’s title game

If there’s one thing everyone loves, it’s the intersection of sports and politics.

Monday morning, the members of Georgia’s Senate wanted to show its constituents just how excited they were for the upcoming National Championship Game between the state’s beloved Bulldogs and Alabama and chose a familiar way to do just that — they called the Dawgs.

Who knows, if the Dawgs win the game, these Senate members may have just won some votes in the next election.
