Georgia fans showed incredible sportsmanship this week, organizing the #WearPinkForWendy campaign in honor of opposing coach Blake Anderson’s late wife.

Knowledge of the social media campaign brought the Arkansas State head coach to tears, something he shared in a memorable interview on “The Paul Finebaum Show” this week.

The “pink out” at Sanford Stadium for the Arkansas State game showed up well on camera. After the game, Georgia’s Spike Squad presented Anderson with a special gift, some pink shoulder pads:

Anderson has made it clear that he won’t be forgetting his trip to Athens and the incredible outpouring of support from Bulldogs fans.
