WATCH: Jarrett Stidham overcome with emotion after being drafted by Patriots

Former Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham had to wait until the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft to hear his name called, but he officially became a New England Patriot.
ESPN shared a video of Stidham receiving the call from the Patriots, presumably Bill Belichick, to inform him that his next football home would be in New England.
For Stidham to learn under Tom Brady and to join such an incredible organization is a massive opportunity. Stidham’s emotions clearly portrayed how happy he was joining the organization, too.

Although Stidham didn’t have the career he had hoped under Gus Malzahn at Auburn, he could be a real sleeper in this draft class. Once again, the Patriots may have gotten a steal at QB in the late rounds.
