That’s why Alabama has a lot of representation among the finalists for the top awards in college football this year, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is one of the three finalists for the Heisman Trophy.
On Thursday, Tide offensive lineman Jonah Williams discussed the success that he and his teammates are having this season. Williams is a finalist for the Outland Trophy and has been a key part of Alabama’s offensive success.
“We’re really proud of what we’ve done as a team,” Williams said. “Each team’s made up of players, so for our players to be recognized by all these prestigious awards means a lot. We obviously value team success the most, but it’s also exciting to see all your teammates getting all this recognition.”
