A number of former SEC wide receivers, running backs and even quarterbacks will tell you it’s no fun to be on the receiving end of a big hit by Keanu Neal. The former Florida safety’s signature hard hits raised his draft stock all the way to the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft when he was picked by the Atlanta Falcons.
Training camps around the league have gotten started, but Neal appears to already be in midseason form. On Saturday, the Falcons shared a video where it was teammate and former Florida State Seminole Devonta Freeman who felt the boom from Neal. One thing that hasn’t changed, Neal can stop a ball-carrier in his tracks with seeming ease.

As a rookie, Neal had 106 combined tackles for the NFC champions.
