WATCH: Kirk Herbstreit gushes over LSU following win over Texas

Kirk Herbstreit came away very impressed with LSU following its 45-38 victory over Texas.
Herbstreit, Rece Davis and Maria Taylor had the call on ABC Saturday night.
LSU’s offense and Joe Burrow torched Texas’ defense for 471 passing yards and four touchdowns. Three different receivers posted 100 yards receiving each.
Behind Joe Brady and Steve Ensminger, LSU’s offense is just different. It’s attacking, and it utilizes the weapons around Burrow.
Following the game, Herbstreit shared a Twitter video from the College GameDay bus, and he dished out the praise for LSU.
“If you didn’t watch it (LSU-Texas), you better be ready for ole’ LSU,” Herbstreit said. “Joey Burrow has a new offense. He’s got great receivers. He threw for 470 yards and four touchdowns tonight. Don’t get me wrong, Sam Ehlinger and Texas battled, but I walk out of here tonight very very impressed with this different approach from LSU.
“This SEC West — don’t think about old LSU running the ball, conservative,” Herbstreit continued. “They are attacking, and this quarterback is for real. In the year of quarterbacks all over the country, you better add Joe Burrow. This kid is a fighter. He’s got a system he’s comfortable with. He’s accurate. It’s going to be a lot of fun to watch LSU get ready down the road for the SEC West.”
