Lane Kiffin has been called a bunch of nasty names, but a bad play-caller isn’t one of them.
Kiffin can dial up plays as well as anyone in college football.
Yeah, you’ve probably heard more about Kiffin’s Twitter use than about FAU’s actual season. The Owls are 5-3 overall and 4-0 in conference and looking to win Conference USA in Kiffin’s first season.
Friday night, Kiffin called a stellar double pass for a long 60-yard TD to give the Owls the 23-16 lead over Marshall. The QB hit the WR who then hit the streaking RB down the middle.
Beautiful.
