WATCH: McAdoo lays blame entirely on veteran QB Eli Manning in press conference

Eli Manning is not having a great start to the 2017 season.
The former Ole Miss QB and current NY Giants starter has just one touchdown and two interceptions to begin the season, and the Giants offense has scored just 13 total points while going 0-2 to start the season.
The Giants struggled heavily in a 24-10 loss to the Detroit Lions Monday, and head coach Ben McAdoo put the blame on Manning when assessing a crucial delay of game in the red zone. McAdoo directly labeled the penalty a result of “sloppy QB play” that should not happen with a veteran.
