WATCH: Nick Fitzgerald puts Mississippi State up 21-3 at halftime, captures all momentum

Mississippi State and Nick Fitzgerald put together a momentum-seizing 8-play, 92-yard drive to score with less than 30 seconds before halftime.
The drive ended with a Fitzgerald nine-yard TD pass to WR Deddrick Thomas.

The Bulldogs have rushed for 184 yards compared to Ole Miss’ 18. MSU has racked up 247 yards in the first half.
The Bulldogs have been in control from the get-go, and to score right before halftime is a backbreaker for the Rebels. Usually, momentum is gained or lost right before halftime and the start of the third quarter.
