WATCH: Paul Finebaum indicates ‘it’s hard to think’ Jim McElwain’s time at Florida ends well

This season has seemingly spun out of control for the Florida Gators in just a few short weeks.
The Gators got off to a 3-1 start and a 3-0 record in the SEC with wins over Tennessee, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt. The team did struggle at times in each of those games, but a strong season looked possible.
That strong start is now just a distant memory following back-to-back losses and a continually anemic offense. Florida’s losses to LSU and Texas A&M came by a combined three points with the offense unable to score more than 17 points in each game.
Head coach Jim McElwain even indicated on Monday that his family and Florida players have received death threats following the struggles, but his comments remain shrouded in confusion.
Paul Finebaum made a recent appearance on ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” to discuss the issue, and he believes “it’s hard to think” McElwain’s time with Florida will end well. @OTLonESPN tweeted out video of Finebaum’s comments:
