People can be quite ruthless on Twitter.
The latest evidence of this comes from the new NFL Mean Tweets skit from the Jimmy Kimmel Show. In the skit, SEC veterans Peyton Manning, Fletcher Cox, Jarvis Landry, and Amari Cooper all read mean tweets people sent directly to them online.
Would the Twitter users who sent these messages be brave enough to say any of this to their face? Probably not, but at least these players manage to laugh off the criticism with a smile.
