UMass is tired of playing against Mississippi State; so, it resorted to fighting itself.

After holding a 20-13 halftime lead, the second half didn’t go according to plan for the Minutemen, as they ended up losing 34-23 in Starkville.

Late in the game, tensions were high, and two UMass players got into a shoving match on the sideline, as you can see in the clip below:

Yes, it’s tough to see a team come back against you, but there’s never an excuse for shoving a teammate on the sideline.

UMass’s coach will have to issue some discipline, and it will be interesting to see if the instigating player gets to play next week.

Mississippi State, meanwhile, also has plenty of question marks, as an 11-point home win over a 2-7 UMass team doesn’t exactly inspire a lot of confidence moving forward.
