WATCH: Vernon Davis has perfect new nickname for Redskins’ Alabama linemen

The Washington Redskins certainly love former Alabama defensive players.
During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Redskins took former Tide DL Daron Payne and LB Shaun Dion Hamilton after previously picking DL Jonathan Allen and LB Ryan Anderson in 2017. That makes four former Alabama defensive players Washington has drafted in the last two years.
On Sunday, the Redskins dominated the Arizona Cardinals 24-6. After the first two quarters, the Cardinals had just 36 total yards. Washington’s dominance was aided in part by former Tide players.
Long-time NFL TE Vernon Davis has the perfect nickname for them, too. He shared it during the post-game celebration on the field.
