College GameDay is in Baton Rouge for tonight’s primetime matchup between No. 1 Alabama and No. 13 LSU, where the final outcome will have a major impact on how the College Football Playoff picture shapes out.

Tigers interim coach Ed Orgeron, who needs a win to impress school administration in hopes of getting offered the full-time job, joined the weekly Saturday morning show today to talk about the big game.

But one of the first questions Sam Ponder asked was what he thought he needed to do to become the next LSU head coach.

His response was fantastic:

Whether LSU beats Alabama tonight or not, it’s clear that Orgeron deserves to be a strong finalist for the job.
