Alabama and The Citadel were tied 10-10 at halftime, but the Tide exploded in the second half outscoring the Bulldogs 40-7.
The Citadel ran the triple option offense, which always gives defenses a fit, and it showed in the first half.

Tua Tagovailoa stayed healthy and finished 18-22 for 340 yards and three TDs, and WR Jaylen Waddle caught six passes for 90 yards and two TDs.
