Where each SEC team stands in the 1-68 overall rankings for the NCAA Tournament

Every year, the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee puts together the best bracket it can for March Madness.

Only 68 teams make the field, but seeding is still a very difficult process. After this year’s bracket was released, the overall 1-68 rankings of the teams were revealed.

As you can see below, Tennessee just barely missed out on a No. 1 seed, leading the way for the seven SEC teams at No. 5 overall:

As you can see in the graphic, Tennessee is No. 5, Kentucky is No. 7, LSU is No. 11, Auburn is No. 18, Mississippi State is No. 20, Ole Miss is No. 31 and Florida is No. 40.

Who will advance the furthest in the bracket? We’ll find out starting Thursday.
