ESPN has updated its Total QBR statistic following Week 11 action in the SEC.
It should come as no surprise that Alabama’s Mac Jones tops the list with an astounding QBR of 96.3. For context, Joe Burrow led the country in this statistic last season at 94.9. Kyler Murray posted the current record of 95.4 during his Heisman season in 2018.
Jones completed 20-of-28 passes for 385 yards and four touchdowns against LSU on Saturday. So far this season, he has completed 75.7 percent of his passes and his averaging 12.2 yards per attempt. His TD:INT ratio is 27:3.
Florida’s Kyle Trask is also having an excellent season, per Total QBR. His mark is currently at 92.7, and is behind only Jones and Ohio State’s Justin Fields.
Ole Miss’ Matt Corral also landed in the top five with an impressive 90.2 rating.
