Will Anderson injury update: Star Alabama pass rusher heads to locker room

Will Anderson is one of the best pass rushers in the SEC, and even in the entire country.
After losing Christopher Allen to a season-ending injury last week, the Alabama Crimson Tide need Anderson to step up and be even better.
However, in the second half of the Mercer game on Saturday, Anderson left the game after apparently taking a helmet to the knee:

It was bad enough that Anderson went back to the locker room early with trainer Jeff Allen:

The good news? Anderson was able to walk to the locker room under his own power. The bad news? There’s no telling how long he’ll be out at this point. That’s a problem with a game at Florida looming large.
The Tide entered the year with a loaded defense, but after losing Allen this week, no one wanted to see Anderson limping off the field this week.
We’ll see if Nick Saban addresses the injury in his postgame press conference.
