Don’t expect Lane Kiffin to leave Alabama before its playoff run ends

Moments ago it was announced that Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin has accepted the head coaching vacancy at Florida Atlantic.

Luckily for the Crimson Tide, it looks like he’s committed to sticking with the team throughout the College Football Playoff:

That’s big news for Alabama, which ranks 13th nationally in scoring offense (40.5 points per game) and looks to win a national championship for the second consecutive season.

The Tide get Washington in the Peach Bowl semifinals — a 3 p.m. ET kickoff slated for Dec. 31 on ESPN.
