The South Carolina Gamecocks are coming off a fresh win over Tennessee Saturday night, and there’s no time to waste, because it’s back on the road again this week against a high-powered Ole Miss offense.

USC entered the UT game relatively healthy, but the Gamecocks were banged up during the game. Most notably, DB Jamyest Williams suffered a shoulder injury and WR Bryan Edwards suffered an ankle injury. On his regularly scheduled Sunday night teleconference, Will Muschamp announced that Williams and Edwards should be OK to play against Ole Miss Saturday, per 247Sports. That’s great news for the Gamecocks.

Muschamp also said he believes that DBs Nick Harvey and JT Ibe will both miss Saturday’s game against the Rebels. That’s rough for a secondary that could use some immediate help.

The Gamecocks and Rebels kickoff at noon on the SEC Network.
