Xavier Williams, former Alabama WR, announces transfer destination

Xavier Williams was a 4-star member of Alabama’s 2018 recruiting class. The Hollywood, Florida, native spent the 2018-21 seasons with the Tide.
Now, though, it seems he’s heading elsewhere to finish out his college career.
As you can see below, Williams took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce he was transferring to Utah State for the 2022 campaign:

Williams caught 3 passes for 24 yards in 2020. He entered the transfer portal in November of 2021.
Williams was a 4-star receiver in the 2018 class, the No. 24 receiver in the class and the No. 24 overall recruit from the state of Florida, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
We’ll see how he fares at Utah State this coming year.
