Zach Arnett didn’t hold back after the win over SE Louisiana. While the win in his head coaching debut was nice, there was still something to disapprove of.

Geor’Quarius Spivey attempted to return to Mississippi State after spending 2021-2022 at TCU. Spivey spent the first few years of his college career in Starkville.

The NCAA didn’t rule Spivey eligible, and Arnett sounded off on the decision. Arnett said he wasn’t sure if the ruling was final, but stated that the adults failed the TCU transfer.

“All the adults failed him on this one,” said Arnett.

Spivey was deemed ineligible for the 2023 season by the NCAA due to a delay on the decision to transfer because TCU played in the National Championship game on Jan. 9.

There might still be a chance for Spivey after what Arnett said. For the time being Spivey can’t play for the Bulldogs.

Stay tuned for more updates on the status of Spivey.
