Eli Manning wants an ownership stake in the only team he played for in his NFL career. According to Bloomberg, Manning is putting together a group of investors to bid on a minority non-controlling share of the team.
Manning spent the entirety of his NFL career with the New York Giants from 2004-19. He is best remembered for leading the Giants to 2 Super Bowl wins (and his 2 Super Bowl MVP nods), along with his remarkable streak of 210 consecutive starts from 2004-17.
For his 236-game career, Manning posted a completion percentage of 60.3, 57,023 passing yards and 366 passing touchdowns. He was selected to the Pro Bowl 4 times (2008, ’11, ’12, ’15) and named Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year for 2016.
Manning was nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2025. He was named a finalist but not selected to be inducted this year.
Recently, Manning helped welcome fellow former Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart to the Giants.
“It’s been an honor and a lot of fun rooting for you these past three years at Ole Miss, and I look forward to rooting for you for the Giants for the next 15 years,” Manning said in a nod to his career with the team. “Congratulations, pal. See you soon.”
