Former Georgia tight end John FitzPatrick has been in the NFL for three seasons, but had yet to find the end zone — until now.
He changed that in the Green Bay Packers game against the Cleveland Browns, as he scored his first career touchdown on a 3-yard pass from Jordan Love in the Packers 13-10 loss.
Entering Sunday, FitzPatrick had only three catches in three NFL seasons. In his career at Georgia, he finished with 17 catches for 200 yards and one touchdown.
He was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the 213th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and he was placed on injured reserve. The next season he was on the active roster for the Falcons, but was waived at the end of the season.
FitzPatrick signed with the Packers in October of last season and he resigned with the team this past April.
