Jordan Davis weighs over 330 pounds. Needless to say, he’s a big man.

And all 330 pounds of him raced down the field on a touchdown on a blocked field goal that secured a 33-26 Philadelphia Eagles win over the Los Angeles Rams with no time remaining.

Here’s video of the return:

If it looked as if Davis was racing down the field, that’s because it was. According to NFL Next Gen Stats, the former Georgia star got up to 18.59 miles per hour. That’s the quickest a player over 330 pounds has run in nearly 10 years.

Georgia fans will recall the big man punching it in to the end zone in 2021 against Charleston Southern. That wasn’t nearly as exciting as what happened on Sunday,

It also moved the Eagles to 3-0 on the young NFL season. The defending Super Bowl champions actually trailed 26-7 less than a minute into the 3rd quarter but went on to score the next 26 points, including a go-ahead score with just under 2 minutes remaining in regulation.

In the end, it was special teams slamming the door on the Rams, as Davis’ blocked FG return was the exclamation point on the Eagles’ comeback.
