The Baltimore Ravens radio crew had quite the interruption during Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
During live action on WBAL 1090 AM and 101.5 FM, a fan entered the booth as play-by-play announcer Gerry Sandusky described the action, and color analyst Obafemi “Femi” Ayanbadejo interrupted.
“Tyler Boyd with a short gain out to the 34-yard line,” Sandusky said, and then Ayanbadejo jumps in, “What are you doing? What are you doing?”
Sandusky clarified after the next play that, “We actually had a fan that trying to climb into the broadcast booth. She said I’m a veteran and I’m looking for a drink.”
Ayanbadejo added, “Yeah, I don’t serve drinks at the game. I might make some cocktails at home, but this is not the right time or place.”
Sandusky said, “You just never know what’s going to pop up, or who’s going to show up on game day.”
