Auburn wide receiver Cam Coleman will remain in the SEC in 2026 after entering the transfer portal.
Coleman, who recorded over 1,300 yards receiving in two seasons with the Tigers, has committed to Texas. He announced the news on his Instagram account on Sunday.
The Longhorns will be receiving a major boost to their wide receiving room with the addition of Coleman. And it’s a needed one. Texas’s wide receiver room has lost Parker Livingstone (Oklahoma) and DeAndre Moore to the transfer portal. They’ll have Ryan Wingo, though, meaning two intriguing options for Arch Manning in 2026.
Coleman, a top-five high school recruit, made his mark right away for an Auburn team that struggled in his two seasons on The Plains. As a true freshman in 2024, he totaled 598 yards, making him the Tigers’ second-leading receiver. His eight receiving touchdowns were tied for the team lead. Then, in 2025, he registered a team-high 708 yards and five touchdowns.
After entering the portal, Coleman immediately became arguably the nation’s top transfer option. But after taking visits to Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech, the Longhorns have won out for his services.
