Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes and an internet personality, was arrested in Kansas City Wednesday morning, charged with aggravated sexual battery.

The incident in question happened back in February, when Mahomes was caught by surveillance sexually and physically assaulting the owner of the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park. Police have reportedly been investigating the incident since March, according to the New York Post.

Mahomes was booked at around 7 a.m. Wednesday morning with a bond set at $100,000.

Mahomes was widely know for his antics on TikTok, and jokes were made on social media prior to his arrest of his videos being cringy and a bad look for the brother of who many consider to be the greatest quarterback playing the game right now.

And this is hardly Jackson Mahomes’ first controversy. He also recorded a TikTok in October of 2021 dancing on the “21” logo at the field of the Washington Commanders, commemorating the life and legacy of NFL great Sean Taylor. Taylor’s number was chained off from the public at the time of filming.
