Former Alabama quarterback Mac Jones has had a fairly good rookie season so far as the New England Patriots starter. Jones has thrown for over 1,000 yards and 4 touchdown passes so far and has led the Patriots to a 2-3 record.
Jones may have had his most impressive performance last week in a loss to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but in the Patriots victory Sunday over the Houston Texans, 25-22, Jones tied another SEC quarterback with for an NFL rookie record.
Jones tied former LSU and Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow, with the most completions by a rookie, 135, in his first 5 starts.
Mac Jones is in the record book. He tied Joe Burrow (135 completions) for the most completions by a rookie quarterback in his first five starts in NFL history.

Jones more than likely will break that tie with Burrow when the Patriots face the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday.
