The game was a rematch of Super Bowl LVII where the Kansas City Chiefs used a 4th quarter comeback to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35.
In what was a much lower scoring game this time around, it was the Eagles who used a 4th quarter comeback to beat the Chiefs this time. Jalen Hurts led the comeback by accounting for both Eagles touchdowns in the second half, with those coming on 10-yard and 1-yard runs.
The Chiefs have now lost 2 of their last 3 to fall to 7-3 on the season, and they’ve struggled recently in 2nd halves having not scored in the 2nd half of a game since October 22nd when they beat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-17. Kansas City looks to get back on track this Sunday at the Las Vegas Raiders at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
The Eagles improved to 9-1 on the season and currently hold the best record in the NFL. Philadelphia has won 4 straight after suffering their only slip up in week 6 against the New York Giants. The Eagles turn their attention to the Buffalo Bills this Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
