Tony Romo loved the Thanksgiving Day halftime show put on by Dolly Parton. He was not alone with many people reacting to Parton’s performance, complete with Parton donning the iconic Dallas Cowboys cheerleading uniform.
Coming out of halftime, Jim Nantz and Romo took a moment to discuss the halftime show. Romo admitted Nantz predicted Parton’s outfit, and Romo admitted it was pretty good all the way around.
After that, Nantz wanted to get back into coverage of the game, but Romo could not help commenting further. He said Parton “looks amazing” and questioned who doesn’t like the legendary singer while Nantz agreed Parton is a true “American treasure.”

“The field is all set after the Dolly performance, we are the champions,” said Nantz.
“She was wearing the Cowboys cheerleading outfit. You saw that coming, didn’t you? You said I think she’s going to go with a little cheerleading outfit,” Romo said. “And I was like wow, that’s pretty good.”
“So, what do you think we’re going to see in the second half?” asked Nantz.
“I mean she looks amazing, right? She’s wonderful. Who doesn’t like Dolly Parton,” Romo interrupted in reply.
“No, she’s absolutely an American treasure, that’s for sure,” said Nantz before the discussion moved back to the play on the field.
