Oklahoma will debut Kyler Murray’s statue at Heisman Park on campus later this spring.

Murray’s statue will be revealed at Oklahoma’s spring game on April 22. Athletic director Joe Castiglione confirmed those plans in an interview with KREF on Thursday morning.

Baker Mayfield’s Heisman Trophy statue was also revealed during Oklahoma’s spring game in 2022. Mayfield and Murray won back-to-back Heisman Trophies in 2017 and 2018.

Murray led Oklahoma to the College Football Playoff in 2018, ultimately losing to Alabama in the Orange Bowl. He threw for 4,361 yards and 42 touchdowns that season. He also rushed for 1,001 yards and 12 additional scores on the ground.

Murray will be the 7th former Oklahoma player to have a statue in Heisman Park. He joins Mayfield, Sam Bradford, Jason White, Billy Sims, Steve Owens and Billy Vessels.

Oklahoma’s spring game is on April 22.
