Oklahoma has landed a new wide receiver for its 2026 recruiting class.
Daniel Odom, a blue-chip wide receiver from California, announced on Tuesday that he plans to play college football in Norman. He made the big announcement on social media with the help of On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Out of Bellflower (California) St. John Bosco, Odom is listed as measuring 6-1 and 178 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Odom is rated 4-stars, the No.25 player in the state of California, No. 33 wide receiver and No. 194 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.
At this stage of his recruitment, Odom has collected scholarship offers from 21 programs. Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M are among the other programs that have shown interest in Odom during his recruitment.
With Odom on board, Oklahoma now has 4 verbal pledges in its 2026 recruiting class. The Sooners also have commitments from QB Jaden O’Neal, OL Will Conroy and TE Ryder Mix. The class has a Composite ranking of No. 18 in the nation.
