Porter Moser knew it was coming, but the Oklahoma coach still tried to side step the question.

After Rodney Terry’s viral rant about UCF players showing Horns Down gestures after they beat Texas last week, Moser was asked for his perspective as the Sooners get set to play host to the Longhorns at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday on ESPN.

“I knew I was going to get asked this sometime today … I really just got to stay out of it. I don’t want to get dragged into it … I know it’s a part of it with both fanbases.”

Terry last week reprimanded UCF players in the handshake line and said, “That’s classless, we don’t do that shit.”

He added more in the post-game press conference.

“That’s what I was angry about,” Terry said. “I was letting those guys know, ‘We don’t do that.’ You guys won, hey we shake your hand, tip my hat to you, but we’re not going to let you act that way in our building. You’re not going to do that, you’re not going to put your Horns Down and do all that nonsense.”
