Andy Jaffe has decided that he would rather play in the SEC than the ACC. The defensive back out of Florida has completed his flip from Wake Forest to Ole Miss.

Less than 24 hours after decommitting from the Demon Deacons, Jaffe announced his pledge to Lane Kiffin’s program. He shared the big news on his Twitter account.

Out of Clearwater Central Catholic, Jaffe is listed as measuring 6-feet, 175 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Jaffe is rated 3-stars, the No. 98 safety, No. 154 Florida recruit and No. 1,132 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

Jaffe committed to Wake Forest back in January. He backed off that pledge Thursday, calling it a difficult decision in a tweeted note:

“After much thought and consideration, I have decided that I am no longer committed to Wake Forest. This was a very difficult decision, but one that I felt was in my best interests. Wake is a special place with special people. I am grateful for the wonderful people I met over the last year. I would like to thank Coach Clawson, Coach Lambert, Coach Spencer, Coach Mummau and the entire staff for recruiting me and always making me feel welcome. A special thanks to Coach Adams. The hardest thing about this decision is telling Coach Adams that I will not be attending Wake. He is an excellent coach and an even better person. He became a member of my family. I wish nothing but the best to the Deacs moving forward.”

With Jaffe on board, Ole Miss has 14 players committed for 2024. Jaffe’s highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
