ESPN’s Football Power Index released its updated predictions for Week 13’s college football slate, and it provided its take on who it believes will come out on top between Ole Miss and Florida on Saturday.

FPI gives the Rebels a 77.8% chance to walk out of The Swamp with a victory, a result that would put them one step closer to a College Football Playoff berth.

Lane Kiffin’s team has no room for error left this season, although it enters this matchup as one of the hottest teams in the nation. Since suffering its second loss of the season to LSU on October 12, Ole Miss has ripped off 3 straight wins by double-digits, including a 28-10 dismantling of Georgia in Oxford.

A 10-2 overall record figures to land Ole Miss in the playoffs given they boast the win over the Bulldogs and a road victory over a tough South Carolina squad. To get to that point, the Rebels will have to take down Florida and then survive a rivalry game bout with Mississippi State.

Florida is similarly experiencing some late-season momentum.

With freshman DJ Lagway at quarterback, the Gators have looked like a tough out as of late. Billy Napier’s bunch took Tennessee to overtime in Knoxville, cruised to a win over Kentucky and pushed Georgia to the fourth quarter with Lagway starting, although he went down with a hamstring injury against the Bulldogs.

The freshman did not play in the Gators’ 49-17 loss to Texas, and the team looked like a completely different group when he returned to lead them to a 27-16 win over then-No. 22 LSU last week. With a balanced offense and a defense that seems to be continually taking steps forward, Florida has another shot at pulling off a stunner and making the athletic department look even smarter for announcing the retention of Billy Napier this weekend.

The Rebels and Gators kick off at 3:30 ET on ABC.
