This is unfortunate news for the former Ole Miss Rebel.
The first injury of Bengals training camp belonged to Rod Taylor. Taylor was carted off the field on the first day of training camp Thursday. He reportedly was holding his right knee and was in pain. Sometimes players are carted off for precautionary reasons, and hopefully, this is all it is.
The Bengals drafted Taylor in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He played all four seasons at Ole Miss from 2014-2017, starting all 12 games at right tackle in 2017.
Bengals 7th round pick Rod Taylor went down during one of the first drills of camp. Holding his right knee.
