The Ole Miss community is currently in mourning, as a plane carrying six Oxford natives crashed Sunday morning near Northport, Ala. According to a report from The Oxford Eagle, there were no survivors.

According to the report, the deceased are Oxford dentists Dr. Jason Farese and his wife, Dr. Lea Farese. Others killed in the crash are Dr. Michael Perry and his wife, Kim, and Dr. Austin Poole and his wife, Angie.

Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze offered his condolences on his personal Twitter account, and also offered a bit of perspective when addressing the atrocity.

The three couples on the plane had been at a dental convention in Florida the past few days, and were on a return flight back to Oxford Sunday morning.
