During the third quarter of Ole Miss’ 37-27 victory over Georgia Southern, star signal-caller Chad Kelly left with a knee injury.

He wasn’t able to get back into the game after the injury — with Jason Pellerin taking over in his absence.

After the contest, head coach Hugh Freeze offered this take to The Oxford Eagle on his quarterback:

“They’ll have to do an MRI and check it. Everything right now would just be speculation.”

Sitting at 4-5, Ole Miss needs two more victories to be bowl eligible.
