Jaxson Dart earns nation's highest QB grade from PFF for Week 1 performance
Jaxson Dart and the Ole Miss offense looked to be in midseason form in their 76-0 Week 1 victory against Forman. Dart played in only the first half, but he threw for 418 yards and 5 touchdowns.
That performance caught the eye of the people over at PFF, who evaluate and give grades every week to players at all positions. With his performance in Week 1, Dart earned the highest QB grade of any quarterback in the country.
It was a good day for SEC quarterbacks, as 4 of the top 10 highest graded quarterbacks were from the conference.

His favorite receiver on the day was Tre Harris, who had 8 catches for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns. While the Rebels weren’t playing top notch competition, to be that efficient and clicking in the first week is still an impressive feat.
Dart was solid for the Rebels last year, as he threw for 2,985 yards and 2o touchdowns. This year, the expectations for Dart and the Rebels is even higher as the team looks to finally break through and make a run to the College Football Playoff.
The competition gets a little tougher this week for Lane Kiffin and the Rebels as they face Middle Tennessee State next Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET
