NFL Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly knows all about dealing with adversity. Though he garnered four Pro Bowl selections, he led his Bills teams to four consecutive Super Bowls, and he didn’t win any of them. Kelly is also a cancer survivor.

And his nephew, Chad Kelly, has endured his own adversity this year. Kelly suffered a season-ending knee injury during the 2016 season, and he recently suffered a wrist injury during Pro Day that led to surgery. So, throwing in front of scouts has been an issue ahead of the NFL Draft.

Jim Kelly is now lending a bit of his toughness to his nephew Chad Kelly in the form of an Instagram post in support of him. Here’s what Kelly wrote about his nephew:

Just an FYI for all NFL executives. Just because of a couple set backs , never count a Kelly out. Ask any coach that coached him, his work ethic is unmatched. He will be back stronger than ever. Bet on it.

The post didn’t need much of a caption, as it showed a Sports Science clip where the younger Kelly was deadly accurate, completing a perfect 19-of-19 passes while in the lab with John Brenkus. The NFL once took a chance on a risk-taking QB named Kelly; maybe with a bit of work, Chad can follow in his uncle’s footsteps.
