Jonathan Mingo is staying true to his word.

The four-star receiver from Brandon, Miss., had been committed to Ole Miss since July but the Rebels had to hold off a late push from Mississippi State and Georgia to keep Mingo’s pledge heading into National Signing Day. During a ceremony at his school Wednesday, the Brandon native reaffirmed his commitment to Matt Luke’s program.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Mingo was a 2019 Under Armour All-American selection in addition to an Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game participant following his senior season for Brandon. He caught 77 passes for 1,451 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior, capping a fantastic high school career for the Bulldogs.

Here is his senior season highlight reel for Brandon. You can see why many suspect he could be the next great receiver to come out of Oxford.
