Key Ole Miss DT Benito Jones taken to hospital after injury in Saturday's scrimmage
In an offseason full of bad news, the Ole Miss Rebels got even more on Saturday afternoon during a training camp scrimmage.
According to reports, sophomore DT Benito Jones had to be taken to the hospital after a hard hit during the scrimmage.
Though Jones will have X-rays taken of his spine, an Ole Miss spokesperson confirmed that he did not lose feeling in his arms or legs after the hit:

According to Ole Miss media relations, Jones did not lose feeling or movement in his extremities.

Jones was a third-team Freshman All-American last season, recording 39 tackles (4.5 for loss) and half a sack for the Rebels.
The 6-2, 285-pound lineman was a 5-star recruit coming out of high school and was expected to be a big part of the Ole Miss defense this fall.
