As you’ve undoubtedly heard, Lane Kiffin is back in the Southeastern Conference and making waves down in Oxford.

When he’s not trying to poach Nick Saban assistants, he’s gaining momentum on the recruiting trail and attempting to lure his first offensive coordinator to Ole Miss.

Kiffin has not been in Oxford for a week but he’s created more headlines than Matt Luke was capable of delivering in a month. While that could be seen as an issue for some, that’s partly why the Rebels hired Kiffin, to reenergize the program and bring fan enthusiasm back up against the loyal Ole Miss followers.

That’s all good and well for Ole Miss and its supports but what about SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey? The league commish is currently attending the annual Sports Business Journal’s Intercollegiate Athletics Forum and was asked to share his thoughts on Kiffin’s return to the SEC.
