Lane Kiffin isn’t shying away from sharing his thoughts after Ole Miss was on the wrong end of a controversial play during Saturday’s loss to Auburn. And of course, he kept it light and made a joke on Twitter, too.

On Saturday, the Rebels thought they had a touchdown when the ball appeared to touch Tigers kick returner Shaun Shivers and go into the end zone, where Ole Miss would have recovered for a touchdown. Instead, it was ruled that the ball didn’t touch Shivers, and then the officials didn’t review the play on replay. That led to Kiffin sharing his frustration while speaking to the media on Monday.

Then, Kiffin tweeted that the reason he didn’t further share the details of his conversation with the SEC head of officials was because he was trying to avoid a fine.

It was a failed effort, though, according to Kiffin, who also joked that it’s going to affect his son Knox’s future:

Leave it to Kiffin to keep things light and have some fun with it. He may be in his first season at Ole Miss, but he’s been having fun on Twitter for years, and that’s continued into 2020.

After a tough loss to Auburn, Ole Miss will be looking to bounce back this Saturday when it travels to face Vanderbilt for a 4 p.m. ET kickoff on SEC Network.
