Lane Kiffin reacts to Ole Miss' win over Texas A&M
Lane Kiffin’s offense had a field day against Texas A&M’s defense. The Rebels racked up a whopping 530 yards of total offense, including 390 of them on the ground.
Jaxson Dart threw for 3 touchdowns, while freshman Quinshon Judkins rushed 34 times for 205 yards and one touchdown on his birthday, nonetheless.
Following the win over the Aggies, Kiffin was asked about his team’s performance.
On the win …
“That was a great finish there by our defense. We really played a good second half. This is a tough place to play, and they got great players. You saw them show up today. Their receiver made some great plays. I’m proud of our guys to get a win on the road and get to a bye. We’re really banged up, so it’ll be good to be healthy.”
On Quinshon Judkins huge performance …
“Yeah, I thought the running backs did well. I mean, 390 yards rushing against a bunch of five stars.
The message to his team at halftime …
“Limit some explosive plays. We were getting rushed there. He was throwing it up and the outside receiver was making some plays there. I just have to thank God for these players coming together and the way that they played. It’s a really cool group.”
On his Halloween costume …
“I don’t know — maybe Jimbo (Fisher) has a Joker outfit for me.”
