Lane Kiffin is no stranger to making comments about Texas A&M’s top recruiting class with respect to Name, Image & Likeness, and there’s little doubt that Kiffin and Nick Saban agree following the Alabama head coach’s comments Wednesday night.

While speaking in Birmingham, Saban went scorched earth on Texas A&M. The Tide coach said “A&M bought every player on their roster when referring to the Aggies, who signed the No. 1 recruiting class of all-time. Yes, Saban actually said it out loud.

Following the Alabama coach’s comments, Kiffin, who’s very active on social media, shared a hilarious GIF of the “Sheriff” Peyton Manning blowing the smoke from his weapons and putting them back in their holster.

If you’ll remember, Kiffin made some negative comments toward Texas A&M leading into National Signing Day, too.

“I joked the other day I didn’t know if Texas A&M was going to incur a luxury tax and how much they paid for their signing class,” he said.

During the 2022 recruiting cycle, Texas A&M and Jimbo Fisher signed the best recruiting class in college football history. The Aggies signed 7 of the recruiting cycle’s 34 5-star players. Alabama finished second.
