Lane Kiffin does his best to weigh in on many major news stories, and even in the dog days of the offseason, that includes NBA offseason roster moves.

One of the major names in the NBA, Kevin Durant, has reportedly requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, his business manager Rich Kleiman told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Kiffin, who is constantly trying to expand the brand of Ole Miss, took the opportunity on social media to drop his well-known hashtag, “ComeToTheSip.” He also photoshopped a T-shirt on Durant with the same message.

Kiffin never seems to take himself too seriously, especially on social media, and this is the latest example.

As for Durant, as the ESPN report suggested, the Nets are preparing to move one of the most valuable trade assets ever on the market, the entire roster will available to discuss in deals, sources told ESPN. Teams have been calling on Durant, and the Nets will certainly look for a historic return on players and draft picks.

Since Durant starred at Texas under current Tennessee coach Rick Barnes, this may be an amusing topic to bring up at SEC Media Days ahead of the men’s basketball season.
